Natural Latex Deluxe -17cm (Deluxe) is a strong natural latex mattress with a 15cm core made of 100% natural latex, mattress height 17cm. The firmness H3 / medium firm (RG 75) is suitable for almost everyone. If you need more firmness, e.g., as a stomach sleeper or because your weight is significantly higher than your partner’s, you can adjust it with the horsehair insert.

The organic jersey cover is knitted from premium, heavy double jersey (organic cotton, GOTS) and quilted/padded with extra fluffy French free-range virgin wool for a healthy, well-tempered sleeping climate... and fine comfort. Naturally with an all-around zipper and turning loops. The inside is made with single jersey (GOTS).

Organic satin cover
For the organic satin cover, the cotton (organic) fabric is woven in satin weave, so it is not stretchable. The fit to the body is therefore a bit firmer than with the other covers. The cover is also quilted with our French free-range virgin wool, naturally equipped with an all-around zipper and turning loops. The inside is also made with single jersey (GOTS).

Washing
Covers lined with virgin wool fleece are generally not washable. The self-hygienic effect of natural wool makes this unnecessary. A molton protector is recommended for cleanliness.

Natural latex information
The natural latex of this mattress, like all latex we process, consists of 100% natural rubber, the sap of the rubber tree Hevea brasiliensis.
The addition of synthetic latex as fillers leads to a loss of elasticity in the latex core - which we do not want.
In the production of natural latex, each core is made individually, meaning the raw material is foamed (similar to the milk foam in a cappuccino), poured into a mold (like making waffles, but much larger), and finally baked…
Removing the hot cores from the mold is a difficult task, and some small pieces of the surface remain stuck to the mold, which leads to small and insignificant visual defects in the core.
In this series, we use a core type that occasionally has these small visual defects. While this takes away the premium status of the latex core, it does not affect functionality. This natural latex, which other processors use as normal premium goods, has everything that natural latex is known for. It does not meet our very high standards due to the occasional visual defects, but it does give us the opportunity to offer a first-class natural latex mattress at this exceptionally good price.
Allergy sufferers
We do not give a blanket recommendation for allergy sufferers. The topic is too complex and unresolved. First of all, it should be clarified what type of allergic reactions are present.
In the case of house dust allergy, we recommend Milbopax (BioNeem), an affordable, natural spray available at pharmacies. We do not recommend so-called encasings because they usually impair the sleeping climate and comfort and are mostly made of synthetic materials. In principle, in our opinion, allergy sufferers / particularly sensitive people are better off with sensitive, natural materials, although there is no scientific proof for this. If you are a plastic allergy sufferer, a natural mattress is certainly the right step.
For allergy sufferers for whom washing hygiene is important, we offer a good solution in the area of our ergoVlex mattresses. The latex core, climate layer, and outer cover are separate units, and the cover can be washed. The climate insert can be selected from different materials and, for example, treated with the above-mentioned spray.
