Protective Cover Organic
The original Futonwerk protective cover made from organic cotton (certified organic / GOTS) is washable up to 60°C. A protective cover slightly changes the appearance of the futon because it covers the buttons and creates a smooth surface. Above all, it is meant to allow stains and discolorations from salts and acids in our sweat, red wine, coffee, or whatever else to be washed out. Since we weave the fabric for the protective covers a few grams lighter and mechanically pre-treat it for washability, this fabric is very supple, adds hardly any bulk, and barely changes the lying comfort noticeably.
The protective cover has a zipper along one long side and halfway along the two short sides. This makes putting it on and taking it off easier from time to time.
A protective cover is not a substitute for a bed sheet, as removing and washing it is still too cumbersome for that purpose.
For a custom size, an individual size in 5 cm increments, please select the next larger size from the list and write your desired size into the order instructions field in the shopping cart, e.g., 170 cm x 215 cm = 180 cm x 220 cm.
On request, we can also equip your protective cover with "edges and turning handles". These handles and the inserted side panel will then be made in the color of the top seating surface. Special requests are possible; please also note them in the order instructions field. We recommend omitting the handles for futon sofas because the standard shape looks better on the sofa.
If ordering a protective cover afterwards or additionally, please specify your futon model or the total height of your futon in the order instructions field as "desired height".
Note: A protective cover is a customized product, so different cancellation conditions apply (according to §§ 312e, 312d BGB in conjunction with Art. 246a EGBGB).
