Yasumi 3 is a powerful, nice and light mat. It is the best mat for Shiatsu massages or other deep-relaxation massages. You lay stable and well grounded and even after two hours there is no pressure - even for heavy clients.
This futon is, however, not suited for regular sleeping.
Originally, Yasumi was merely the comfortable shiatsu mat. It still is, but many people are looking for a nice, versatile mat for a variety of uses - whether for relaxation, travel or to sleep on the ground ... this is how the Yasumi collection came to be.

The Yasumi collection
Yasumi futons are both delicate and strong and have a lot to offer. The base is made of pure natural rubber, offering very high strength, and is wrapped in plenty of high-quality wool – in Alpenland quality. The elegant organic cotton satin cover, hand-stitched with light thread, gives them a soft appearance and long-lasting durability.
Yasumi futons are very comfortable, but not soft (exception: Yasumi 3+2 /sensitive), and when folded in pairs or combined with other futons, they create a fully functional sleeping space – preferably on the floor or on a tatami mat.
