Zen R2+3 is a light, delicate yet sturdy mat, ideal for massage use and also perfect as a relaxation, travel, or guest cushion.
As a TWIN Futon, combined with Yasumi 3+2, it creates a comfortable sleeping place for lightweight individuals.
Climate-active merino new wool on the outside, fine, fluffy, anti-static cotton inside, and between them two strong, stabilizing, and ventilating layers of coconut fiber or horsehair (recommended).
Brief explanation: Coconut fiber or horsehair?
The noticeable difference between coconut and horsehair is so slight that you can decide based on personal preference. Horsehair is animal-based and somewhat more flexible, coconut is plant-based, odorless, and a bit more ecological. The processing is identical, as are the climate properties in the futon.
For the Zen R2+3, it is recommended to choose horsehair because in this very light mat the difference in firmness is clearly noticeable. You can also hear a slight crunching of the coconut fibers when moving.
