The core of this mattress, made of pure natural latex, is one firmness level firmer than the Deluxe 17cm, making it especially suitable for back and stomach sleepers up to about 110kg, as well as side sleepers who prioritize good stability over softness. For gentle-natured side sleepers and very light individuals, we recommend the Natural Latex Deluxe 17cm or the Natural Latex Deluxe 20cm.
The cover is also a 100% natural fabric made from organic cotton and extra-strong sheep’s wool from French free-range sheep. You can choose between two different cover fabrics, which influence both firmness and the bed climate. (Details below)

From 160cm width, we deliver two latex cores (recommended from 140cm) with a continuous cover. This keeps the mattress manageable while still providing a large mattress, guaranteed without a gap!

Organic Jersey Cover
The organic jersey cover is knitted from premium, heavy double jersey (organic cotton, GOTS) and quilted/padded with extra fluffy French free-range sheep’s wool for a healthy, well-tempered sleeping climate ... and fine comfort. Naturally, it features an all-around zipper and turning loops. The inside is made with single jersey (GOTS).

Organic Satin Cover
The organic satin cover is made from cotton (organic) fabric woven in satin weave, so it is not stretchable. The fit to the body is therefore a bit firmer than with the other covers. The cover is also quilted with our French free-range sheep’s wool and naturally equipped with an all-around zipper and turning loops. The inside is also made with single jersey (GOTS).

Washing
Covers padded with wool fleece are generally not washable. The self-cleaning effect of natural wool makes washing unnecessary. To keep it clean, a molton protector is recommended.

Natural Latex Information
The natural latex of this mattress, like all latex we process, consists of 100% natural rubber, the sap of the rubber tree Hevea brasiliensis.
The addition of synthetic latex or fillers reduces the elasticity of the latex core – which we do not want.
In natural latex production, each core is made individually, meaning the raw material is foamed (similar to milk foam in a cappuccino), poured into a mold (like making waffles, but much larger), and then baked …
Removing the hot cores from the mold is a difficult task, and some small surface pieces may stick to the mold, resulting in minor and insignificant visual imperfections on the core.
In this series, we use a core type that occasionally shows these small visual imperfections. While this removes the premium status from the latex core, it does not affect functionality. This natural latex, which other manufacturers use as normal premium goods, has everything that defines natural latex. For our very high standards, it is not sufficient due to occasional visual flaws, but it allows us to offer a first-class natural latex mattress at this exceptionally good price.
Allergy Information
We do not give a blanket recommendation for allergy sufferers. The topic is too complex and unresolved. First, it should be clarified what type of allergic reactions are present.
In the case of house dust allergy, we recommend Milbopax (BioNeem), an affordable, natural spray available at pharmacies. We do not recommend so-called encasings because they usually impair the sleeping climate and comfort and are mostly made from synthetic materials. In general, in our opinion, allergy sufferers or particularly sensitive people are better off with sensitive, natural materials, although there is no scientific proof for this. If you are a plastic allergy sufferer, a natural mattress is definitely a good choice.
For allergy sufferers who value wash hygiene, we offer a good solution in our ergoVlex mattress range. Here, the latex core, climate layer, and outer cover are separate units, and the cover can be washed. The climate insert can be selected from different materials and can also be treated with the above-mentioned spray.
