Strong Merino sheep's wool creates a balanced sleeping climate and provides you with a comfortable, hygienic, dry sleeping place. In addition to the climatic properties, the topper, especially for light people, provides gentle pressure relief if your mattress is a little too firm on the surface. Mattresses that are too soft, on the other hand, are somewhat stabilized. (An inadequate mattress cannot be made into a good one by a topper alone).
This climatic topper is suitable for everyone, including wool-sensitive people, because the wool is washed at high temperatures and the lanolin content is reduced to a minimum. We keep some lanolin (wool wax) in it for hygiene, which may make the topper smell a bit 'sheepy' in the beginning. The wool topper should lie in the fresh air for an hour every now and then - this regenerates the hygienic effect of the wool.
Please Note: Topper covers are generally not removable. If you are looking for an additional washable cover for the topper, the following are recommended:
Molton protector, organic - rather warming, to be fixed to the topper (together with the mattress) using elastic bands
Satin protector, organic - neutral, to be fixed to the topper (together with the mattress) using elastic bands
