Probably the best-selling futon of its kind for 30 years - and a real pleasure for experienced futon sleepers.
The large amount of natural fibres creates the consistent firmness typical of futons and a comfortable and hygienic sleeping environment. The 5cm natural latex core keeps the fibres in shape and creates good, pleasant basic elasticity and a long service life.
For people up to 80kg who are looking for the typical futon feeling without having to roll up / move the futon frequently ... Very good for stomach sleepers. For side sleepers, especially for the 50+ age group, rather too firm in the long term. The parallel model FUTON DX 4plus is ideal for heavier or older sleepers, as it has significantly more natural latex for more comfort adaptation.
FUTON DX 4 is best used on an evenly firm surface (rolled slats, tatami / floor) and is best used up to 160cm wide.
Well suited for use on futon sofas, turns even a modest frame into an excellent sofa bed.

- 5cm firm natural latex - made from 100% natural rubber, extra firm, forms the base, ensures gentle elasticity and long-lasting comfort
- 2x 1000g/m² coconut fiber (more firm, vegan) or horsehair (more elastic)
- 4x 1000g/m² organic cotton - is cosy, climate-active and antistatic.
- 2x > 500g/m² fleece wool - in Alpenland quality, forms the hygiene filter, absorbs moisture and cleans sustainably
- The cover: organic cotton satin (GOTS) 300g/m², point stapled
- The height: approx. 14cm (initially more)
- The weight: approx. 12kg/m²
- All futons are manufactured with four sturdy handles sewn into the seam of the cover to make it easier to turn the futon (please do not use them to carry the futon!).
Also available vegan (coconut instead of horsehair, organic cotton instead of wool); makes the futon firmer!
